Here are two local newspaper accounts of the July 9, 2012, uranium-mining forum organized by two members of the Pittsylvania County, Va., Board of Supervisors. An estimated 100-200 people attended the forum, which stretched to three hours. The Chatham area of Pittsylvania County is the location for a proposed uranium mining and milling operation by Virginia Uranium, Inc. Virginia has had a moratorium on uranium mining since 1982.

it seems odd that this forum attracted so few of the media.
