Two Local Accounts of July 9, 2012, Uranium-mining Forum by Pittsylvania County, Va., Supervisors

Here are two local newspaper accounts of the July 9, 2012, uranium-mining forum organized by two members of the Pittsylvania County, Va., Board of Supervisors.  An estimated 100-200 people attended the forum, which stretched to three hours.  The Chatham area of Pittsylvania County is the location for a proposed uranium mining and milling operation by Virginia Uranium, Inc.  Virginia has had a moratorium on uranium mining since 1982.
