George Mason Center for Regional Analysis’ October 2012 Report on Proposed Virginia Uranium Mine’s Potential Fiscal, Housing, and Economic Impacts

On October 1, 2012, the George Mason University Center for Regional Analysis released a 16-page study of the potential economic benefits of a proposed uranium mining and milling operation in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.  The study examined the potential fiscal impact on Pittsylvania County, the potential impacts on the local housing market, and the potential economic benefits to the area.  The 137-page report is available online at the Center’s Web site, http://cra.gmu.edu/, or contact the Center at (703) 993-2401.
