“Dragonfly Pond Watch” is Calling All Dragonfly Watchers

This item was previously posted in 2012; following is an update as of 5/7/14.

The Migratory Dragonfly Partnership offers “Dragonfly Pond Watch,” a program for volunteers to help collect information on the location and migration of five migratory dragonfly species in North America: Common Green Darner (Anax junius), Black Saddlebags (Tramea lacerata), Wandering Glider (Pantala flavescens), Spot-winged Glider (Pantala hymenaea), and Variegated Meadowhawk (Sympetrum corruptum).   Anyone with access to a pond or wetland can participate.  For more information, visit http://www.migratorydragonflypartnership.org/index/dragonflyPondWatch, or e-mail Celeste Mazzacano at celeste@xerces.org.
