On Virginia Water Radio for 9-7-15: University of Virginia Student Research into Chesapeake Bay Oysters and Nitrogen

Virginia Water Radio’s latest episode, for the week of September 7, 2015, is “Oysters, Nitrogen, and the Chesapeake Bay – Part 2.”  The 4 min./41 sec. episode examines Virginia research on oysters’ role in processing nitrogen in the Bay, focusing on research by University of Virginia student Abby Lunstrum, a  2014 recipient of a research grant from the Virginia Water Resources Research Center (which produces this blog site and Virginia Water Radio).  Part 1 (Episode 279, week of 8-24-15), examined the historic  importance of the Eastern Oyster.
