Communicating Science to the Public is Focus of New Virginia Tech Center; Opening Celebrated on March 2, 2017

On March 2, 2017, Virginia Tech holds a celebration of its new Center for Communicating Science.  According to its Web site, the center “creates and supports opportunities for scientists, scholars, health professionals, and others to develop their abilities to communicate and connect.”  Part of the center’s activities is a graduate-level course modeled on work by the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York.
