Water ECubeG (Engineering, Ecology, Environment, and Geosciences) Research Experiences for Teachers will be offered at Virginia Tech from June 19-July 28, 2017, for teachers in grades 9-12 and in community college. The program is being organized by the Virginia Tech Learning Enhanced Watershed Assessment System (LEWAS Lab), the Virginia Tech Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science, several other Tech departments, and Virginia Western Community College. Funded by a National Science Foundation grant, the program offers the chance to participate in a research project and to develop teaching/learning modules in specific subject areas. Participants will receive a stipend, tablet computer, travel and food allowances, and continuing education credits (CEUs) from Virginia Tech.
